About the role

Role Overview

Software Engineer (iOS) on a 6-month contract with possible extension. This is a remote position for candidates anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain iOS applications for end-user groups and customers
Analyze application performance and troubleshoot issues
Perform coding, testing, and documentation for proposed solutions
Create, modify, and test code
Participate in code reviews for junior/offshore programmers
Monitor assigned systems and provide ongoing support
Identify and resolve system/software performance issues (recode, test fixes, implement solutions)
Analyze software solutions against customer requirements and recommend best options
Support additional projects/tasks assigned by a supervisor

Requirements

Hands-on iOS development experience (implied by responsibilities)
Ability to troubleshoot, test, and maintain production applications
Experience with code review and supporting offshore/junior developers (as part of the role)

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with performance analysis and systematic bug fixing (implied by role duties)
