iOS Developer

Role Overview

Mid-level iOS Front-End Developer to build and enhance modern iOS mobile experiences focused on performance, usability, and real-time interaction. You’ll work with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to deliver high-quality iOS features and grow across scalable architectures and emerging technologies.

Contract Details

• Duration: 6 months
• Possibility of extension: Yes
• Location: Cincinnati, OH or Remote (onshore/nearshore candidates)
• Screening: 5 video questions, games section, and a coding challenge (use Swift)
• Interview process:
  • 1 × 90-minute interview
  • Optional additional 30-minute team fit/meet & greet

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in design and implementation of significant iOS applications.
• Champion company standards and improve software delivery processes.
• Create programming specifications; design, code, and unit test using SDLC best practices.
• Partner with Product to plan features, gather requirements, and propose solutions.
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Research and implement new interface development techniques.
• Support the full application lifecycle: concept, design, test, release, and support.
• Maintain applications using required tools and technologies.
• Assist and support teammates, including mentoring or on-the-job training.

Requirements

• 2–4 years professional iOS development experience with Swift (prefer SwiftUI).
• Working knowledge of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as URLSession and Combine.
• Understanding of iOS UI/UX fundamentals and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Collaborative experience in team-based development.

Nice-to-Have

• Interest or exposure to e-commerce or consumer mobile apps.
• Familiarity with state management in SwiftUI.
• Experience working with distributed/nearshore teams.
