About the role

Role overview

You’ll join DataAnnotation’s coding community to help develop and train cutting-edge AI systems through programming tasks. Work is flexible and project-based, with an initial short assessment used as a screening step.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that directly improves subsequent AI model training

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift
Preferred: experience as a Software Developer / Coder / Software Engineer / Programmer

Nice to have

Preferred experience in Kotlin

Compensation & logistics

Fully remote within supported countries
Flexible schedule: choose which projects to take on and when to work
Hourly pay starting at $50–$100+/hr; higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance
Paid via PayPal

Location eligibility

Work availability is limited to US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
