About the role

Role Overview

Join Cruise Planners HQ as an iOS Developer to build and improve high-quality, user-centric iOS applications for a large customer base in the travel industry.

Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced, scalable iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI, ensuring performance, security, and usability
Implement and maintain scalable app architecture using MVI or MVVM (aligned with clean architecture principles)
Build quality through unit tests (XCTest) and UI tests (XCUITest)
Develop secure authentication flows, including biometric authentication and token management, with encryption and privacy compliance
Create offline-first experiences using SwiftData/Core Data and implement synchronization for unreliable networks
Add analytics instrumentation to track engagement, feature adoption, and conversion metrics
Monitor performance, investigate memory leaks, and troubleshoot using Instruments and MetricKit
Collaborate with design, backend, Android, QA, and project management teams to plan, design, and ship features

Requirements

BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or related)
5+ years professional experience in iOS development with Swift
Strong knowledge of the full app development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, and deployment
Advanced Swift skills including async/await, actors, and protocol-oriented programming
Deep understanding of iOS SDK and Xcode, plus iOS development best practices
Experience applying MVI or MVVM architectural patterns
Familiarity with dependency injection, SwiftUI, Combine, and Apple frameworks such as SwiftData/Core Data, MapKit, and Foundation
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and implementing secure authentication
Experience with Firebase and APNs for cloud/messaging
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
