iOS Developer

Role overview

GlobalLogic is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to build and maintain native iOS (and Android) applications. You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver high-performance mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement native mobile applications with high quality and performance
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional code
• Integrate backend services and APIs
• Ensure compatibility across devices and OS versions
• Test for bugs, optimize performance, and ship updates
• Work with product teams to define technical requirements and support project planning
• Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and stay current on mobile trends
• Apply security best practices and support data privacy compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven native mobile development experience for iOS and Android (with a strong portfolio)
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, and Kotlin and Java
• Familiarity with mobile frameworks, APIs, and third-party libraries
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, performance optimization, and debugging tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control
