IOS Developer

Role Overview

Freelance iOS Developer to support the development of a native iOS application on a project basis. The role is fully remote, with required availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces from high-fidelity designs.
• Translate design prototypes into fully functional, high-performance iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and stability.
• Work with the project team to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver on time.
• Maintain and update existing applications for compatibility with the latest iOS versions and devices.
• Document development phases and monitor app performance for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for native iOS development.
• Experience turning high-fidelity designs into functional mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
