Role Overview

Contract iOS and Android Mobile App Developer (Remote)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable mobile applications for iOS and Android
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define features and deliver seamless user experiences
Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following mobile best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance across devices and platforms
Participate in code reviews and improve development processes and standards
Stay current with mobile platform updates and emerging technologies

Requirements

Expert-level experience with:
- iOS: Swift and/or Objective-C
- Android: Kotlin and/or Java
Strong portfolio of shipped apps on the App Store and Google Play
Deep understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
Proficiency with:
- RESTful API integration
- Push notifications
- Third-party SDKs
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Contract Details

Compensation: $30–$130/hour
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Location: Remote (United States listed)
