Internship-Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

Internship — Full Stack Engineer (6 months, part-time; preferred full-time)

Join SkipQ’s founding team to help build a mobile-first, travel retail marketplace. This is a hands-on internship focused on real coding and direct mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain serverless backend architecture on AWS
• Build responsive, dynamic frontend features using React.js
• Work on a B2B platform serving concessionaires, airports, and service providers
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Contribute to the company landing page
• Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect UI components
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with the founding team

Required Skills

• JavaScript/TypeScript (modern JS/TS)
• React.js (component-based applications)
• Node.js (backend development)
• Web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
• Git/GitHub (version control)
• Strong analytical/problem-solving and debugging
• Testing: Jest and React Testing Library

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation
• Serverless Framework
• State management: Redux or Context API
• REST API design and implementation
• CI/CD pipeline understanding
