International Data Acquisition Analyst

Role Overview

As an International Data Acquisition Analyst at Socure, you will source, evaluate, onboard, and manage third-party data providers across international markets. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize data sources that improve product performance and support Socure’s international growth priorities.

Key Missions

• Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess third-party data providers across international markets.
• Onboarding & Management: Onboard, manage, and track data providers and their operational performance.
• Operationalization: Work with teams to integrate and operationalize data sources.
• Due Diligence: Conduct data quality assessments, coverage and overlap analysis, and evaluate business value and operational trade-offs.

Requirements

• 4–8 years in data acquisition, vendor management, procurement, partnerships, data operations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills for data quality, business value, and operational trade-off evaluation.
• Experience evaluating/managing third-party data providers, ideally across multiple markets/jurisdictions.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and privacy frameworks for data acquisition and usage (including UK GDPR and EU GDPR).
• Excellent organizational skills with structured documentation, evaluation records, and vendor tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (e.g., Business, Data, Analytics, Economics, or related).
• Experience working with data vendors in identity verification, fraud prevention, financial services, regtech, or compliance-related markets.
• Familiarity with international identity/KYC/eKYC and watchlist-related data ecosystems.
• Knowledge of international data landscapes and common source categories (e.g., government, credit bureau, mobile network, utility, electoral).
• Experience using SQL (or similar) for data analysis, profiling, or evaluation.
• Familiarity with data integration concepts: APIs, batch delivery, schemas, and operationalization of external feeds.
• Experience supporting UK/European market data providers or products used in the UK and broader international markets.

• Direct exposure to identity verification / fraud prevention data ecosystems across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
