About the role

Role Overview

Intern - AI Data Engineer (Trainee) to help build and evolve an Agentic Data Engineering Accelerator that automates the creation of cloud data platforms and analytical applications using Generative AI.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance data pipelines and analytics components on cloud platforms (AWS)
Design, review, and validate AI-generated code and data workflows
Contribute to agent-based systems that translate natural language intent into technical implementations
Improve prompt templates, system prompts, and agent reasoning workflows
Document architectures, patterns, and best practices for internal accelerators

Requirements

Proficiency in Python and SQL
Strong fundamentals in data engineering (e.g., ETL/ELT, data modeling)
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Foundational knowledge of Generative AI / LLMs and prompt engineering
Experience with Git and collaborative development

Nice to Have

Exposure to agentic AI patterns, RAG, or AI-assisted development
Experience with analytics platforms, BI tools, or metadata systems
