About the role

Role Overview

Join Chime as an Insights Analyst (Dispute Experience) within the Trust & Safety pillar. You’ll produce deep analytical insights that help protect Chime’s members and improve operational efficiency, partnering with Fraud Ops, Disputes Ops, Risk, Product, and Engineering.

Key Missions

  • Perform in-depth analyses to identify root causes and deliver actionable recommendations to improve Trust & Safety processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate and enhance AI-enabled workflows, including automated decisioning and classification models.
  • Design and evaluate experiments and changes, including:
    • A/B tests
    • Policy changes
    • Operational interventions to support data-driven rollout decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics for executives.
  • Deep understanding of the intersection of product, operations, and engineering in Trust & Safety.
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured analytical frameworks.
  • Ownership mindset with urgency, proactive communication, and a bias toward action.
  • 5+ years in analytics (ideally Trust & Safety, Fraud, Risk, or Support Operations).
  • Experience supporting or evaluating AI/ML systems, including false positive/negative review and model performance.
  • Python or R proficiency for experimentation, modeling, and data analysis.
  • Advanced SQL skills (joins, window functions, CTEs).
  • Strong statistics background, including causal inference, experiment design, and anomaly detection.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, CS, Engineering).

Nice to Have

  • Experience analyzing automation systems, risk models, or ML-driven workflows.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker or Mode.
  • Fintech/digital banking/payments/fraud/Trust & Safety domain experience.

Collaboration

Partner with Fraud Ops, Disputes Ops, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to diagnose emerging risks and quantify operational impact.
