Infrastructure Security Engineer

Role overview

You will join the security team as an Infrastructure Security Engineer, designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure to protect cloud-native applications. Responsibilities

Cloud & infrastructure security

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures across multi-cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Secure hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with embedded security controls
• Support security assessments and audits for cloud infrastructure/services
• Implement and manage cloud security tools (e.g., CSPM, CWPP, CASB)
• Manage identities and roles across cloud and hybrid environments
• Monitor and remediate infrastructure to align with frameworks/regulations (e.g., PCI, NIST CSF, GDPR, HIPAA)

Platform, containers & developer enablement

• Define secure container standards and automation for developer workflows
• Maintain Kubernetes security aligned with current best practices
• Integrate security best practices into CI/CD with development teams
• Secure and enhance CI/CD pipelines, including code scanning

Detection, operations & tooling

• Monitor and respond to security events/incidents across cloud/hybrid environments
• Maintain SIEM data pipelines to support reliable alerting
• Build and maintain security operations infrastructure using Python, Terraform, and configuration management (e.g., Puppet)
• Create dashboards and alerts from security metrics
• Define and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures
• Own security projects end-to-end and implement solutions
• Stay current on emerging cloud security threats and mitigations

Requirements (basic qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud security/infrastructure security or related roles
