Infrastructure Security Engineer | $85/hr Remote

Role Overview

Hourly contract, sprint-based remote work focused on infrastructure/application security engineering. You’ll use coding agents and review model-generated code and architectures to identify and fix security issues.

What You’ll Do

• Complete and evaluate complex security engineering tasks using coding agents
• Review model-generated code and architectures for:
  • vulnerabilities
  • security risks
  • implementation flaws
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and security-related failure modes
• Compare outputs from multiple models and assess strengths/weaknesses
• Apply engineering judgment to real-world security engineering scenarios

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in security engineering
• Strong background in one or more of:
  • application security
  • cloud security
  • infrastructure security
  • vulnerability management
  • security tooling
• Experience using coding agents and developer productivity tools
• Ability to spot flaws in model-generated code and system architectures
• Strong experience securing production systems

Contract Details / Pay

• Remote hourly contract
• $85/hour
• Typical tasks: ~$400 for 2–3 hours after ramp-up
