Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

Infrastructure Engineer (Backend-focused) to design, build, and scale the infrastructure that powers Compliance OS, focusing on secure and reliable deployments across multi-cloud environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across GCP (primary), AWS, and Azure with reliability, scalability, and security in mind.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for repeatable environments.
• Architect and implement multitenant systems, balancing isolation, performance, and operational complexity.
• Troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure, networking, and backend services.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to support platform features, APIs, and system integrations.
• Improve observability using metrics, logging, and tracing, and strengthen incident response practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong backend + infrastructure engineering experience across cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience with containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) / environment automation.
• Ability to design and reason about multitenant architectures (isolation, upgrades, blast radius).
• Comfortable working across the stack for debugging and production support.
• Ownership mindset: proactive communication, strong debugging, accountability for production systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities.

Bonus

• Experience with Kubernetes, security hardening, observability, or compliance/GRC systems.
