About the role

Role Overview

The Senior/Principal Infrastructure & Cloud Architect is a strategic, hands-on technology leader responsible for enterprise cloud architecture and infrastructure modernization across complex environments. You will act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing architectural direction and technical governance across cloud, hybrid-cloud, infrastructure, security, and IoT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Drive enterprise cloud architecture and infrastructure modernization efforts.
Establish and enforce infrastructure standards and technical governance for cloud/hybrid environments.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology strategies aligned to organizational objectives.
Lead modernization initiatives to improve operational efficiency, resiliency, and service delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams, security professionals, and business leaders.
Partner with IoT and data teams to design secure edge-to-cloud architectures and real-time telemetry/intelligent services.
Provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives, mentor engineers, and evaluate emerging technologies.
Communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (or related) or equivalent experience.
10+ years progressive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or systems engineering.
5+ years in a senior/lead/principal/enterprise architect role with responsibility for large-scale initiatives.
Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), networking, security, automation, and enterprise architecture practices.
