About the role

Role Overview

Information Technology Service Delivery Manager – Infrastructure (Fully Remote)

Lead end-to-end operational delivery of infrastructure services for a top enterprise client. Own service stability, security, and performance across on-prem and cloud environments, acting as the key bridge between business stakeholders, internal technology teams, and managed service providers (MSPs).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations across compute, storage, virtualization, data centers, and public cloud
  • Ensure SLA/OLA compliance for availability, performance, and reliability
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison with Managed Service Providers
  • Lead major incident response, coordination, and communications
  • Govern incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Track operational KPIs such as availability, MTTR, and change success rate
  • Drive continuous service improvement, including automation and cost optimization
  • Govern backup/recovery, resiliency, patching, and vulnerability remediation
  • Provide executive service reporting and stakeholder communications
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • 10+ years in IT Infrastructure Operations or Service Delivery
  • 3+ years managing MSPs/vendors
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of:
    • Windows & Linux servers
    • Enterprise storage platforms
    • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
    • Data center operations
    • Public cloud (specifically Azure)
  • Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and operational reporting
  • Solid ITIL knowledge (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level Management)
  • Proven experience leading major incidents with executive-level communication
  • Ability to operate effectively in a 24x7 mission-critical environment

Nice-to-Haves (Plusses)

  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification
  • Hybrid cloud infrastructure experience
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds
  • Background supporting regulated environments (SOX, SOC, PCI)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $80/hr to $90/hr (exact compensation may vary)
