Information Technology Project Manager -- W2 ONLY

Role Overview

Senior IT Project Manager within the client’s EPMO, leading high-priority healthcare technology initiatives while coordinating between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Employment Details

• Type: W2 Contract
• Duration: 6 months (likely extension)
• Location: 100% Remote (EDT or CDT preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of technical projects, including:
  • Windows upgrades
  • Microsoft Office 365 minor migrations (32-bit to 64-bit)
  • LOS (Line of Service) incident coordination
• Coordinate with business teams and technical portal teams to drive incident resolution and value stream upgrades
• Build and maintain project schedules and manage risk dependencies
• Produce weekly/monthly reporting for leadership
• Deliver project updates and portfolio reviews to Directors and VPs
• Track progress using KeyedIn PPM (or similar tools such as Planview/Clarity)

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior project management experience (7–10 years preferred)
• Healthcare or insurance experience (Blue Cross Blue Shield experience is a plus)
• Proven experience managing technology-focused projects (Infrastructure or minor application upgrades)
• Ability to manage project budgets of $500k+
• Strong communication skills, especially explaining technical risks to non-technical executives
• Experience using PPM tools (KeyedIn, Planview, Clarity, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Facets technology or experience managing Facets-related projects
• PMP or other industry-standard certification
• Experience with Microsoft 365 upgrades and Windows node monitoring projects
