About the role
Role Overview
The Information Technology Project Manager will join the Tech Ops team and report to the Sr. Manager, Tech Operations. This fully remote role (must be able to work CST) involves continuous collaboration with cross-functional and senior stakeholders to solve critical technical problems and drive release and intake processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical release management, coordinating across teams for smooth, timely execution
- Manage the release calendar and ticket lifecycle, ensuring visibility, documentation, approvals, and conflict prevention
- Communicate releases across the organization and to senior leaders
- Maintain an organized history of release notes
- Manage intake for new technology requests and projects from cross-functional stakeholders
- Create automation and support maintenance of data flows into tools such as Airtable
- Oversee org-wide document management across Confluence and SharePoint
- Support org-wide communications (e.g., create presentation decks and coordinate inputs)
- Support onboarding activities related to org-wide data (e.g., managing organization charts)
- Create and deliver reporting on release, intake, and prioritization to inform leadership decisions
- Drive organizational effectiveness by supporting diverse Tech Ops projects and strategic initiatives
Required Skills
- Experience with Airtable
- Experience with Jira, including JQL querying
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments while being highly detail-oriented
- Technical enough to work with software engineers and understand release management practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
