Implementation Project Manager

Role Overview

The Implementation Project Manager is the linchpin for Absorb clients, owning end-to-end implementations to ensure a seamless transition to the Absorb LMS. You serve as the primary client point of contact—driving client success through project management, guidance, troubleshooting, and hands-on education.

Responsibilities

• Own the software implementation process for new clients (average duration: ~8 weeks), end-to-end via phone, email, and/or virtual meetings
• Gather and document requirements, confirm project scope, and define achievable timelines and program goals
• Act as a client partner/liaison to support cross-department collaboration and resource management
• Support and implement additional products and integrations, including:
  • RESTful API
  • CRM/HRM integrations
• Deliver in-depth LMS training, teaching best practices and workflows customized to each client
• Manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, or project management within software implementations (or similar)
• Previous training experience / software training experience
• Understanding of basic online/SaaS concepts
• Proven time management skills and a project-oriented mindset

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous LMS admin or training experience
• Knowledge of adult learning and the e-learning industry
• PMP or formal project management experience
• Experience working with data import tools
