About the role
Role Overview
As an Implementation Manager at SchooLinks, you will be the primary point of contact for school districts and a strategic partner throughout onboarding and rollout. You’ll translate district goals into actionable implementation plans, build trusted relationships with counselors and administrators, and ensure stakeholders realize value from the platform quickly.
Key Missions
- Manage platform implementation for a portfolio of K-12 districts, including integration, configuration, and training.
- Create phased implementation plans aligned to the modules each district has purchased, including compliance requirements.
- Track and document implementation status per district, recording project state, action items, key decisions, and next steps.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main district-facing contact and coordinate implementation activities end to end.
- Present clearly to district leadership and deliver follow-ups that are actionable and easy to track.
- Build consistent processes across a varied client portfolio with multiple concurrent projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in implementation, customer success, project management, or a client-facing role, preferably in K-12 EdTech or education services.
- Understanding of how K-12 districts operate.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to district leadership.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to structure ambiguous situations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects across different clients, timelines, and configurations.
Nice-to-Haves
- Product subject-matter familiarity (or willingness to develop it) to support configuration and training effectively.
