About the role
Role Overview
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect focused on PingOne DaVinci for a major CIAM migration. This is a remote contract role supporting a Fortune 500 enterprise on an established IAM engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and hands-on development for PingOne and DaVinci workflows
- Support a large-scale CIAM migration with PingOne as the core platform
- Integrate and onboard customer-facing and third-party applications into CIAM
- Design and implement OIDC/OAuth authentication flows and manage token governance
- Work as part of a collaborative IAM engineering team (4th member)
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of Ping Identity components
- Communicate with technical and business stakeholders, maintaining strong responsiveness
Required Skills & Experience
- Expert, hands-on PingOne DaVinci experience (architect level; ~50% design / 50% engineering)
- Strong background in the Ping Identity Suite (e.g., PingOne, PingFederate, PingDirectory)
- CIAM implementation experience and application onboarding background
- Deep understanding of OIDC/OAuth and token lifecycle/governance
- Ability to work independently in large enterprise environments
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with PingOne Advanced Services / Advanced Series (Managed Hosting Module)
- AWS experience: Lambda, API Gateway, Terraform, CloudWatch
- Experience with PingOne MFA or risk-based tools such as PingOne Protect
- Prior enterprise-scale application migration experience
