Role Overview
Crossing Hurdles is hiring a Human Resources Specialist (Hourly Contract) to work remotely for 10–40 hours/week. The role focuses on designing HR scenarios, evaluating AI outputs, and improving HR-domain content quality.
Responsibilities
- Design realistic HR scenarios and tasks based on hands-on HR experience.
- Craft prompts for model-facing use and create gold-standard responses.
- Review and grade AI-generated outputs for accuracy and alignment with HR standards.
- Identify errors and failure modes in AI model reasoning related to people decisions.
- Provide structured written rationale for evaluating AI outputs.
- Collaborate to refine evaluation rubrics and improve the quality of HR domain content.
Requirements
- Strong relevant experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
- Depth in HR sub-domains such as:
- Talent Acquisition
- Compensation & Benefits
- HR Analytics
- Strong command of HR frameworks and employment-law fundamentals.
- Excellent written communication to explain nuanced reasoning.
- High attention to detail and comfort evaluating work quality.
Nice to Have
- HR credential: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
