Human Resources Manager

Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR operations across the U.S. workforce and provide strategic support for international and cross-border teams. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will ensure consistent HR policies, employment-law compliance, and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support core HR functions: employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Manage employee relations including investigations, coaching, corrective actions, and maintaining documentation
• Ensure compliance with U.S. federal/state/local employment laws and coordinate with external partners for international labor requirements
• Support talent initiatives: recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, employee development, engagement, and retention
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational change, and global expansion
• Manage HR processes for leaves of absence, accommodations, and return-to-work programs
• Coordinate with payroll, benefits, and external vendors for cross-border HR administration
• Maintain accurate HR records, support HR reporting, and ensure audit readiness
• Develop and implement HR policies promoting consistency, fairness, and equity
• Support compensation and benefits administration (including year-end processes)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices
• Experience supporting international/cross-border workforces
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with U.S. employment law (international labor practices preferred)
• Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment

Nice-to-Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred)
• Experience partnering with external counsel, PEOs, EORs, or staffing agencies for international operations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Work Model & Location

• Remote or hybrid work within the USA
• Some travel required for onsite meetings and functions
