About the role

Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted HR partner to educate leaders and employees, resolve workplace issues, and support employee relations while helping the firm scale.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an HR partner: guide leaders and employees on employee relations and HR best practices
  • Build, implement, and continuously improve HR systems and policies to support growth
  • Lead and improve onboarding and ongoing development/retention experiences
  • Manage employee relations: coaching conversations, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and terminations—ensuring compliance with employment laws
  • Partner with leadership on recruiting, hiring, benefits administration, payroll coordination, leave management, and HR compliance
  • Deliver HR training and presentations on policies and workplace best practices
  • Collaborate with an established team member to strengthen existing HR processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience in a professional services environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Colorado employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience managing employee relations (PIPs, discipline, conflict resolution, and terminations)
  • Experience managing HR processes for remote teams
  • Knowledge of leave administration (medical leave, family leave, and other protected leave programs)
  • Experience supporting recruiting and hiring processes
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll processes
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources
