About the role
Role Overview
Human Resources Manager for Planned Systems International (PSI), partnering with HR leadership and senior management. You will manage day-to-day HR operations, supervise HR personnel, lead HR initiatives and projects, and support business objectives across assigned value segments.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Personnel Management
- Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned value segments and corporate.
- Lead and develop assigned HR personnel (coaching, mentoring, performance management, accountability).
- Partner with executives and managers to resolve complex workforce issues.
- Lead HR process improvements and projects; prepare executive reporting, presentations, and recommendations.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Manage employee relations matters (workplace investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, performance improvement plans).
- Oversee performance management and annual evaluation cycles; ensure consistency, compliance, and timeliness.
- Coach leaders on performance, development, documentation, and employment-related decisions.
HR Operations
- Manage HR operations for the value segment, including offboarding, compensation changes, employee transactions, international processes, leave administration, and policy interpretation.
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR system integrity, including UKG Pro, iCIMS, and SharePoint.
- Provide timely guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal/state/local and government contracting employment regulations and company policies.
- Manage compliance reporting, audits, policy administration, and employment law guidance while minimizing risk.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports to support Finance (compliance, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning).
Employee Engagement & Workforce Analytics
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives (surveys, action planning, follow-up).
- Develop and analyze HR metrics and workforce analytics to identify trends and support business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 12 years of progressive HR experience across major HR disciplines.
- 4 years managing HR personnel.
- Extensive HR experience supporting federal government contractors, including employment law and OFCCP / Affirmative Action (posting text indicates required familiarity).
