Human Resources Manager

Role Overview

The Human Resources Manager is a strategic HR leadership role overseeing HR functions across multiple manufacturing sites. You will ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency while fostering a positive, engaging environment—especially for the hourly workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the plant HR team to build an engagement-focused culture and strong employee relations.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee talent acquisition, including building pipelines for hourly and skilled roles to meet current and future staffing needs.
• Partner with managers and the Plant Director to understand operational needs and deliver HR solutions.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and update HR policies/procedures as needed.
• Advise leadership on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
• Support initiatives related to employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
• Manage HR metrics and reporting to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
• Stay current on HR/industry and legal trends and incorporate best practices into HR programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong employment law knowledge, HR best practices, and compliance standards.
• Proven experience developing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and leading HR teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; proactive and strategic mindset.
