Role Overview

Human Resources Generalist (Manager) within the HR team, serving as a subject-matter expert for HR compliance, HRIS administration, and HR reporting. The role supports employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration while helping drive a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA)
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook in line with regulatory changes
  • Coordinate, issue, and track mandatory compliance training across the organization
  • Prepare and submit required compliance reports, filings, and regulatory submissions
  • Conduct internal HR audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on employment-related compliance matters
  • Develop HR reports; analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights to leadership
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data used for reporting and decisions
  • Act as primary HRIS administrator: manage data accuracy, system configuration, and user access
  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4–6 years of progressive HR generalist experience with a focus on compliance and HR operations
  • Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA)
  • Experience administering and maintaining an HRIS platform
  • Strong analytical skills for HR reporting and data management
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting benefits open enrollment, recruitment, and employee relations

Preferred

  • SHRM certification

  • Full-time role at corporate headquarters in Plymouth Meeting, PA

  • Estimated 10% travel
