Human Resources Generalist

Role Overview

Human Resources Generalist for a 7–8 month contract (potential extension), remote. Pay: $26.00–$28.00 per hour (W2); shift 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans/procedures and support the development of personnel policies and the employee handbook.
• Manage compensation program and support/monitor performance evaluation processes.
• Handle benefits administration (claims resolution, change reporting, invoice approval for payment, and employee benefit communications).
• Develop and maintain affirmative action program records and reporting.
• Support employee relations (e.g., counseling), and may assist with outplacement and exit interviewing.
• Maintain HR information system (HRIS) records and produce required HR reports.
• Assist with talent acquisition/recruitment processes.
• Conduct onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
• Provide employee support on HR topics (leaves, compensation) and help resolve related issues.
• Collect and analyze HR metrics (e.g., time to hire, turnover) for reporting.
• Organize quarterly/annual performance reviews.
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper formats.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Business, or a related field.
• HR certification from HRCI is a plus: PHR, SPHR, or GPHR.
