About the role
Role Overview
Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) partnering with senior leaders across assigned business areas to drive the people agenda. This is a strategic and operational role within the HRBP model, coordinating with Strategic HRBPs, HR Delivery, HR Operations, and HR COEs to deliver critical people priorities.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnership & People Strategy
- Partner with senior functional leaders to translate business priorities into targeted people plans
- Provide insight and challenge on organizational capability, structure, and talent planning
- Contribute to development and execution of people strategy aligned to enterprise priorities
- Organizational Effectiveness & Design
- Lead organizational design and restructuring initiatives (R&D and Tech Ops)
- Diagnose organizational effectiveness issues and implement data-informed solutions
- Talent Management & Succession
- Own talent review and succession planning processes
- Partner with leaders to identify, develop, and retain critical talent
- Support follow-through on development actions and talent outcomes
- Workforce Planning & Capability Development
- Lead workforce planning aligned to pipeline, regulatory, and operational needs
- Identify capability gaps and implement targeted solutions
- Support strategic hiring and capability build efforts
- Leadership Coaching & Support
- Coach leaders on team effectiveness, leadership capability, and performance management
- Advise on complex employee matters with HR Delivery
- Culture, Engagement & Change
- Drive engagement and culture initiatives
- Lead change management for reorganizations, pipeline shifts, and new ways of working
- Use engagement and people data to inform interventions
- HR Program Ownership & Integration
- Ensure implementation of core HR processes (performance, talent, compensation) within the function
- Act as an integrator between HR functions and the business
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use data/insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate analytics into actionable recommendations
- Track impact of people interventions and adjust as needed
Requirements
- Strong HRBP experience in complex, matrixed environments
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence VP+ level senior leaders
- Experience leading organizational design, change management, talent management, and workforce planning
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and pivot with changing priorities
- Resilience, ability to prioritize workload, manage stakeholder expectations, and perform under pressure
- Excellent oral and written communication; attention to detail
- Customer-service orientation and professional management presence
- Experience working within a global organization
