Role overview
US HR Manager (East Coast) — Fully Remote at Medius. You will be the primary SME for US HR with deep expertise in US employment law, compliance, and HR operations, leading all aspects of HR for the company’s US employee population.
Responsibilities
- US HR ownership & compliance
- Own and serve as SME for all US HR processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Provide authoritative guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain and continuously update the employee handbook and HR policy framework in line with evolving legislation.
- HRIS & data governance
- Ensure integrity/accuracy of employee data in HiBob (timely entry, updates, audits).
- Support data governance standards and regular data quality reviews.
- Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to keep system/data flows seamless.
- Onboarding & offboarding
- Lead US onboarding from offer acceptance through first-day readiness.
- Oversee offboarding processes (details continue beyond the provided excerpt).
- Payroll & benefits administration
- Manage payroll and benefits administration with demonstrated experience.
Requirements
- Prior PEO experience (with ADP TotalSource strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to manage payroll and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance.
- Confidence to operate independently while partnering with global HR and payroll colleagues.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using HiBob as the HR Information System.
