HR Generalist

Role Overview

The HR Generalist drives people operations and HR strategy in a growing technology organization. You will own the employee lifecycle—from onboarding through offboarding—while partnering with leadership to scale people programs, ensure compliance, and foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations:
  • onboarding
  • benefits administration
  • payroll processing
  • employee records maintenance in HRIS
• Partner with people managers on:
  • employee relations
  • performance management
  • compensation reviews
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple US states
• Design and improve people programs and policies and support employee engagement for a remote-first culture
• Analyze HR metrics and turnover data to recommend operational improvements and inform leadership decisions
• Facilitate employee training on:
  • company policies
  • professional development
  • DEI standards (diversity, equity, and inclusion)

Requirements

• 3–6 years as an HR Generalist or People Operations professional in high-growth technology environments
• Hands-on experience with modern HRIS and payroll tools (e.g., Rippling, Gusto, Workday)
• Deep knowledge of US labor laws, employment compliance, and multi-state employment regulations
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills with discretion and confidentiality
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Nice to Have

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification
• Experience scaling remote workforces across multiple countries
