Healthcare Scrum Master

Role Overview

• Title: Healthcare Scrum Master (dual Scrum Master / Project Manager)
• Employment: 6-month contract with potential conversion to full-time
• Work: Fully remote
• Time split: ~75% Scrum Master and 25% Project Management

Responsibilities

Scrum Master (75%)

• Host and facilitate daily standups
• Work closely with the Product Owner (PO)
• Support Agile execution and story management using tools such as Jira

Project Management (25%)

• Provide status reports to stakeholders and leadership
• Oversee multiple workflows (including budget management)
• Document processes using Clarity reports
• Create PowerPoint presentations for executive levels (L1/L2/L3)
• Support executive-level communication including risks and issues

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in healthcare insurance
• Proficiency with Jira and PM/SM tools
• Ability to perform dual roles as Scrum Master and Project Manager
• Experience managing projects end to end
• Strong Agile experience and hybrid methods (e.g., Kanban)
• Ability to develop project plans and roadmaps and deliver executive presentations (PowerPoint)
• Ability to facilitate both technical and business discussions
