Healthcare Product Owner

Role Overview

The Healthcare Product Owner will act as a member of the Agile product leadership team to deliver digital solutions for healthcare-focused projects. You will represent the functional client and/or business needs to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and delivery of business value.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional/business representative for one or more healthcare market-focused projects
• Create and manage business and functional requirements
• Apply Agile methodologies to support delivery of digital solutions
• Prioritize workload and manage multiple projects with critical timelines
• Drive consensus among stakeholders with different viewpoints and seniority
• Gather requirements and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate to bridge business and technical teams and communicate clearly

Requirements

• Healthcare industry experience is mandatory
• 3+ years writing business and functional requirements
• Agile Product Owner experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making across functional, technical, and process details
• Strong business analysis and business systems analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe experience/certifications (Leading SAFe, SAFe PM/PO, CSPO/PSPO) and/or Pragmatic Marketing certification
• Technical proficiency around platforms, shared services, modernization strategies, and integration/implementation
• Healthcare domain knowledge: Utilization Management and Specialty Benefit Management
• Call center application/workflow experience
• Testing background/technical writer experience; automated testing tools
• Ability to manipulate/analyze data and familiarity with SQL
• Tools/skills: Jira, Jira Align, Aha!, Visio, Outlook, Word/Excel, Snagit, Daptiv, DocuShare
