Role Overview

Head of WFJ Marketing (Watches & Fine Jewelry)

  • Lead strategic development and execution of Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and Visual Merchandising for the WFJ category in the U.S. market.
  • Partner across the organization to elevate brand equity, strengthen product storytelling, and ensure best-in-class in-boutique expression.
  • Reports to the GM Watches & Fine Jewelry and interfaces with stakeholders including PR, Media, Events, Client Analytics/Insights, CHANEL.com, Retail, Fashion, and global WFJ teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive initiatives to scale the WFJ business.
  • Define and lead the overall U.S. marketing strategy to strengthen brand awareness, desirability, and legitimacy.
  • Localize global brand and product marketing strategies for the U.S. market.
  • Build product storytelling and launch strategies for key collections and iconic platforms.
  • Orchestrate cross-functionally across communications, media, events, retail, and digital to ensure consistent visibility.
  • Translate market insights and commercial opportunities into product marketing initiatives.
  • Define and implement visual merchandising (VM) strategy across the U.S. boutique network.
  • Ensure VM execution follows global guidelines while adapting to local priorities and key markets.
  • Partner with Retail and Merchandising to optimize product presentation, storytelling, and client engagement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Marketing and Visual Merchandising team.
  • Coordinate marketing intelligence; analyze competition mapping and product strategies.
  • Partner with global teams on product development.

What You Bring

  • Strong brand-building background (at least one major luxury brand).
  • Deep knowledge and passion for the watch and fine jewelry industry and luxury retail.
  • Proven 360° marketing orchestration (connecting communications, retail, and product storytelling).
  • Strong experience leading product marketing and visual merchandising strategies.
  • Ability to interpret local market insights and convert them into strategies.
  • Attention to detail without getting stuck in the weeds.
  • Ability to lead by influence across multiple teams.
  • Track record of inspiring innovation and forward thinking (e.g., .com, social media, remote sales, e-services).
