Head of Technical Program Management (Office of the CISO / CIO)

Role Overview

Head of Technical Program Management (Office of the CISO / CIO) at Wiz. This leadership role drives delivery of complex, cross-functional security and technology initiatives. You will act as a player-coach: leading high-stakes programs while recruiting, developing, and managing a team of Technical Program Managers.

Responsibilities

• Strategic people leadership: recruit, develop, mentor, and manage a world-class Technical Program Management team
• Senior execution leadership: own end-to-end program strategy, roadmap development, and milestone tracking for critical security and IT initiatives
• Executive alignment: partner with leaders across the CISO/CIO organization and other Wiz functions to align strategy and keep work moving
• Security–engineering partnership: bridge security and engineering teams to align priorities and execute effectively
• Global collaboration: coordinate across globally distributed teams and align workflows across time zones

Requirements

• 10+ years experience establishing and leading large, complex, cross-organizational initiatives in areas such as:
  • security engineering and/or security operations
  • technology programs
• Hands-on program leadership in security engineering domains such as:
  • vulnerability management
  • identity and access
  • cloud security
• Familiarity with technology/business initiatives such as:
  • vendor portfolio management
  • budgeting
  • adoption of AI solutions
• Proven leadership and team development experience (recruiting, mentoring, fostering execution and technical excellence)
• Strong executive communication skills; able to serve as executive point of contact
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both security and engineering-focused teams
