Head of Product Design

Role overview

As Head of Product Design at Zero Hash, you will shape the user experience of core digital asset infrastructure products. You’ll define the design vision and strategy, lead and mentor a high-performing design team, and champion good design across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define the design vision and strategy for the company’s core pillars, including Trade, Transact, and Tokenize.
• Build, mentor, and scale a product design team, fostering continuous learning and shared success.
• Act as the primary design advocate within the organization, articulating and justifying design decisions to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Create and oversee wireframes and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to align design with product and technical execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years product design, interaction design, or UX leadership in a software development environment (8+ years for senior roles).
• Strong ability to discuss technical concepts with engineering, including REST APIs, webhook messaging, and database mechanics.
• A world-class portfolio demonstrating complex B2B/fintech product UX and strong user-centered design skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor.
• Prior experience in crypto, blockchain, fintech, or brokerage-as-a-service.
• Expert-level Figma skills and familiarity with Jira.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex financial concepts into clear tasks.
• Proven experience managing design teams and scaling design processes in dynamic environments.

• Experience leading design for digital asset infrastructure products (explicit domain fit in crypto/fintech).
• Depth across interaction design and UX leadership in fintech contexts.
