Head of Product Design

Role overview

As Head of Product Design at Joko, you will own the vision and execution of product design. You will ensure high standards across UX, UI, accessibility, and interaction, while building and scaling a top-performing design and research team.

Responsibilities

• Own the design vision, principles, and quality from the earliest stages of the design process.
• Collaborate closely with the VP Product, product management, and engineering to define design strategy and product roadmaps.
• Build, recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of designers and researchers, ensuring strong team execution and growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading end-to-end product design with strong ownership of UX/UI, interaction design, and accessibility.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product and engineering to influence strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling design and research teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong design leadership experience across design systems, interaction patterns, and research-informed product decisions.
