About the role

Role Overview

Lead the conceptual design vision for high-end residential projects (up to $50M+ mega-properties) in a founding leadership capacity. You’ll operate as the ultimate Conceptual Design Authority, centered on client emotional outcomes, human connection, and high-impact spatial design.

Responsibilities

Run upfront, high-level psychological discovery sessions with clients to ensure alignment comes before design.
Protect the integrity of a proprietary lifestyle blueprint.
Lead design free from traditional firm operational constraints; outsource construction execution to subcontracted partners.
Travel as needed to visit sites, facilitate intensive client alignment sessions, and assess structural partners.
Help a visionary team shape development outcomes in an emerging category: “Residential Hospitality™.”

Requirements

10+ years designing $30M+ luxury residential properties from the ground up at world-class US architecture firms.
Expert conceptual and technical capability with a human-connection-first mindset.
Experience operating as a design authority and delivering static beauty with mastery.

Expected travel: 10%–25%

Compensation

$175K–$300K total target compensation package depending on experience.
