Head of Customer Marketing

Role Overview

Lead LaunchDarkly’s global Customer Marketing function. Own customer advocacy and adoption programs, and shape brand messaging and positioning that strengthens customer engagement and insight across accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global customer marketing function, including brand messaging and positioning.
• Manage customer advocacy and adoption programs to build a repeatable pipeline of advocates.
• Establish an Executive Advisory Board to build trust and advocacy among senior decision makers.
• Produce customer case studies and other customer-facing content.
• Oversee peer review programs and related customer engagement initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve customer engagement, insights, and learnings.

Requirements

• Strong ability to build deep, one-to-one customer relationships and manage customer-facing GTM and executive engagement.
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and customer lifecycle tools.
• Experience with Salesforce and Gainsight.
• Experience with customer advocacy tools such as Champion and UserEvidence.
• Experience working directly with a developer/software engineering audience.
• Experience collaborating with global, remote cross-functional stakeholders.
• 12+ years related experience, including 3+ years supervisory experience.
• 7+ years of customer advocacy experience, including managing a team of individual contributors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for compelling content and messaging.

• Built scalable operational frameworks and led complex, cross-functional customer programs.
