About the role

Role: Head of Creative, Social Media

Lead the global creative vision, strategy, and execution for Paula’s Choice social platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Set the Creative Vision for Social
    • Define and lead social creative strategy aligned to brand vision and business objectives.
    • Establish a recognizable social aesthetic and voice that builds trust, desire, and cultural relevance.
    • Ensure all content is on-brand, high-quality, and built for both engagement and long-term brand equity.
  • Lead Social as a Brand-Building Channel
    • Develop and execute innovative social campaigns for product launches, brand moments, and key cultural opportunities.
    • Turn complex skincare science into clear, compelling, social-first storytelling.
    • Stay ahead of emerging platforms, formats, and creator behaviors.
  • Drive Performance with Creative Excellence
    • Partner with analytics/performance teams to define success metrics (reach, engagement, and impact).
    • Use data and insights to optimize creative direction, content mix, and platform strategy over time.
    • Ensure performance-informed decisions while protecting brand standards and originality.
  • Build and Lead the Team
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of social creatives and strategists.
    • Foster high standards across the social organization.
  • Cross-functional partnership
    • Partner closely with Brand, Product, PR, and Performance Marketing so social is central to how the brand shows up in culture.

Requirements / qualifications

  • Senior leadership experience capable of balancing bold creative instincts with strategic rigor and measurable impact.
  • Strong ability to build a cohesive social brand voice/aesthetic and translate product/science into engaging content.
  • Experience working with analytics/performance to measure and optimize social creative and content strategy.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated experience identifying and capitalizing on emerging social platforms, formats, and creator trends.
