About the role
Role Overview
OTB AI is hiring a Head Design to lead client advising efforts as a fiduciary. You will help clients with holistic personal financial planning, including savings, retirement, debt management, and investments.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic financial advice to clients (fiduciary responsibilities)
- Enhance or improve user experience and the company’s site/service
- Process transactions
- Send emails about the site and respond to inquiries
Requirements
- Personal financial planning expertise; Certified Financial Planner (CFP) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead client advising
About You / Preferred Skills
- Experience building web APIs with Go and/or functional programming (e.g., Elixir, Clojure, F#, Node.js)
- Strong focus on security, code quality, scalability, performance, and simplicity
- Seeks operational excellence and applies best engineering practices
Nice to Have
- Experience working with both Go and Elixir with mentorship/pairing opportunities
