About the role
Role Overview
As a GTM Engineer (Sales Workflow Automation, Revenue Intelligence) at Toast, you will own the automation layer and the revenue intelligence stack across the sales motion. You will implement and optimize tools, build integrations, and deliver AI-driven insights to help sales reps and managers.
Key Missions
- Implement & optimize tools: Lead the implementation and optimization of third-party and first-party tools, building integrations that eliminate manual work and surface AI-driven insights.
- Audit & roadmap automation: Audit the current sales process, identify high-value automation opportunities, and create a prioritized automation roadmap.
- Own win/loss analysis: Design the data capture process, build reporting, and synthesize patterns for product, sales, and leadership.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills; can translate data concepts for non-technical audiences, including Sales and Finance leadership.
- Strong SQL skills and comfort working in a data warehouse environment for data validation, transformation, and pipeline QA (e.g., Snowflake or BigQuery).
- Experience building AI agents/agentic workflows that transformed real work (not just using AI, but building with it).
- Experience owning reporting infrastructure in BI/dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Salesforce Reports & Dashboards) with focus on pipeline and revenue metrics.
- 4+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM AI Engineering, including at least 2 years focused on AI + GTM tool implementation.
- Data governance mindset: build standards, document them, and maintain long-term data quality.
- Working understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance (a plus).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with data enrichment and identity resolution tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Clearbit, Ringlead, Openprise, or similar).
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or fintech environment with complex multi-product, multi-segment sales motions.
