About the role
Role Overview
Group Product Manager (Fintech & Strategic Extensions) on Remote’s Product Fintech team. You’ll lead the strategic direction and hands-on delivery of payment products and services, shaping how customers experience Remote globally.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Develop and execute a cohesive product strategy aligned to company vision, goals, and market needs.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product managers; foster a collaborative, innovative product culture.
- Hands-on Execution: Roll up your sleeves—dive into details, challenge assumptions, and guide critical decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, legal, finance, operations and other teams to deliver product outcomes.
- Performance & KPIs: Track product performance and KPIs to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Product Evangelism: Advocate for your product area internally and externally, including presenting to stakeholders and customers.
Requirements
- Extensive product management experience, including leading teams and delivering successful product launches.
- Deep payments domain expertise: industry trends, technologies, regulatory considerations, and competitive landscape.
- People leadership: strong leadership and people-management skills to elevate others.
- Strategic + tactical execution with comfort owning complex details, not only directing.
- Customer-obsessed with a record of delivering intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
- Data fluency to interpret metrics and guide prioritization and decisions.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration for fast alignment across teams.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Remote work experience is a plus (not required).
