Role Overview
Group Product Manager — Audience Experience & Growth
Forbes is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that drive audience engagement, retention, and growth across Forbes.com. This remote role owns the end-to-end reader experience across core page templates and interactions, with a strong focus on evolving front-end experiences that help audiences discover, consume, and return to Forbes content.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision for the Forbes.com sitewide audience experience, including:
- Core templates (e.g., homepage, articles, landers)
- Off-site channels such as Push and Apple News
- Drive audience growth by improving key engagement metrics (e.g., time spent, recirculation, return frequency, depth of engagement)
- Lead testing and iteration to optimize user experience, performance, and conversion across high-impact surfaces
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Product Design to deliver scalable, accessible, and performant front-end experiences while balancing speed, quality, and technical constraints
- Collaborate with Editorial, Audience Development, Consumer Revenue, and Advertising to align product initiatives to audience growth goals and discovery patterns
- Design and evolve audience experiences with an understanding of monetization models, balancing user value, performance, and revenue while maintaining editorial integrity
- Identify and launch new formats, modules, and experiences that unlock incremental audience and revenue growth
- Work with Business Intelligence to define success metrics and KPIs, using insights to guide experimentation, prioritization, and roadmap decisions
- Communicate performance, learnings, and product strategy to senior stakeholders
- Serve as a senior product leader across initiatives and mentor product managers as opportunities arise (with potential people leadership responsibilities over time)
Requirements
- 6–8 years of product management experience
- Proven experience owning consumer-facing digital products at scale
- Demonstrated ability to drive audience engagement, retention, and growth through product/experience-led initiatives
- Strong partnership experience with Product, Engineering, and Product Design for front-end or user-experience-focused products
- Successful cross-functional collaboration with editorial/content, data, and business stakeholders
- Data-informed decision-making with experience using experimentation, metrics, and insights for prioritization
