Group Product Manager

Role Overview

Bitso is hiring a Group Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and execution of operations systems. You will modernize internal infrastructure and drive product strategy across AML/Fraud Prevention, Identity Management, Authentication, and Back-office platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Product Managers, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Define product vision and roadmap for customer trust & safety and internal workflow improvements.
• Oversee integration and strategy for Authentication, Identity Management, and security-focused products.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure products meet AML and Fraud Prevention requirements.
• Use OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to set goals, track progress, and measure outcomes.
• Collaborate with Engineering (engineers, engineering managers) and Designers to prioritize features and ensure technical feasibility.
• Conduct internal discovery and user testing, iterating based on feedback from Operations and business units.
• Communicate product strategy and rationale to executive leadership.
• Advocate for operational excellence and automated workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and mentoring Product Managers to deliver high-impact results.
• Extensive experience working with Operational teams, Customer Support, Compliance, Legal, and Fraud Prevention.
• Demonstrated expertise with Authentication and Identity Management systems.
• Strong background in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud Prevention in a financial/fintech context.
• Track record using OKR metrics to align team goals with business strategy.
• Experience influencing stakeholders across business, legal, and engineering; ability to negotiate and align priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with Back-office systems.
