Graphic Designer | $65/hr Remote

Role Overview

Digital Illustration Expert (Hourly Contract) working remotely. You’ll lead end-to-end digital illustration work—turning concept sketches into fully rendered artwork—using Krita or Libresprite.

Responsibilities

• Drive the digital illustration process from concept sketches to final rendered art using Krita or Libresprite
• Document and communicate artistic decisions, workflows, and visual problem-solving approaches
• Create strong compositions and refine color, value, and design elements
• Deliver high-quality illustration work that demonstrates an end-to-end workflow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback to improve outcomes
• Articulate creative rationale in written and verbal formats
• Troubleshoot and resolve visual and technical challenges during production

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Krita or Libresprite
• Proven ability to complete full illustration projects from sketches to final artwork
• Solid graphic design fundamentals: composition, color theory, visual storytelling
• Careful attention to layer organization and tool selection
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills explaining artistic processes
• Strong problem-solving skills in creative and technical workflows
• Self-driven, organized, and able to provide a portfolio of high-quality illustration work
