Role overview

Joveo is hiring a Graduate Data Engineer (Remote) to help build the data infrastructure powering its AI platform. You’ll create production-grade batch and real-time pipelines, write transformation code, and support data quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines under senior guidance
Write SQL and Python for data transformation and ETL workflows
Work with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake
Contribute to data quality monitoring and pipeline reliability
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean, usable datasets
Develop skills in data modeling and orchestration using modern data engineering practices

Requirements

Recent graduate with a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data manipulation
Understanding of database fundamentals and basic data modeling
Strong analytical thinking and attention to data correctness
Curiosity about how data flows through real production systems

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with any data pipeline tool, cloud data platform, or big data technology
