Graduate Business Operations Associate

Role overview

As a Graduate Business Operations Associate, you’ll support the operations team as the “backbone” of day-to-day order handling. You’ll manage order flow, resolve issues, support sellers and partners, and help build AI skills and automations to reduce repetitive work.

Key missions

• Keep orders flowing: detect, resolve, or escalate issues with orders that are missing or stuck.
• Run daily cross-system checks across systems to identify discrepancies.
• Support sellers and partners by troubleshooting problems and communicating updates.
• Build AI skills and automations to remove repetitive work (starting with the recruitment exercise).

Requirements

• AI-native builder mindset: uses AI in daily work (e.g., Claude/AI) and can build a simple, working Claude skill.
• Must demonstrate building an agent/skill during the recruitment exercise.
• Clear communicator: writes clearly, presents simple findings, and flags problems early.
• Fast learner: quickly adopts new tools and processes.
• Startup energy: energized by ambiguity, pace, ownership, and a broad remit.
• Reliable & coachable: delivers on time with clean work; asks questions when stuck; takes feedback well.
• Numerate & analytical: degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, math, physics, CS, or numerate economics/finance/quant-social-science). Comfortable with raw data and spreadsheets.

Nice to have

• Prior experience building a Claude skill, agent, or automation.
• Light coding skills in Python and/or SQL.
• No-code automation tooling experience (e.g., Make, Zapier, Retool, Airtable).
• Internships/part-time experience in consulting, banking, operations, analytics, e-commerce, or startups.
