Role Overview

Google Cloud Data and AI Solution Architect (SA) (Presales)

You will support Google Cloud Data and AI engagements by developing solutions and proposals in collaboration with TEKsystems sales and practice partners. The role blends business-domain understanding with broad technical expertise to drive solution scoping and client-facing pre-sales work.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales: solution design, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Understand business requirements and customer inputs (e.g., terms/conditions) and identify/mitigate solution risks.
• Advocate for non-functional requirements: usability, reliability, performance, supportability, and security.
• Drive application modernization initiatives and maintain deep technical skills.
• Perform technical assessments, proofs-of-concept, and feasibility studies.
• Package solution capabilities for sales and marketing (including value propositions and competitive positioning).
• Provide feedback to practice teams to develop and enhance new capabilities and offerings.
• Stay current on data modernization and AI trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Partner with Sales and Contract teams to ensure solutions are reflected in Statements of Work and contracts.
• Collaborate on the evolution of service offerings and presales/go-to-market collateral (e.g., case studies, account profiling, client presentation design).
• Manage handoff from Sales to Delivery, aligning expectations, schedules, and ramp-up timelines.
• Ensure delivery teams clearly understand client context (environment, culture, key stakeholders, escalation paths, roles/responsibilities, objectives, issues/risks).
• Provide advisory and thought leadership support to clients.

Requirements

• Experience/exposure supporting agentic AI implementations using Google Gemini Enterprise (formerly Agentspace).
• Significant experience architecting scalable, secure, cost-effective data solutions using Google Cloud Data and AI technologies (text cuts off mid-list).

Nice-to-haves

• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to create proposals including technical approach, estimates, implementation plans, team structure, pricing, and contract inputs.
