Golang Engineer

Role overview

Build and scale high-performance systems using Go (Golang) in a globally distributed, fully remote engineering organization. You’ll contribute to core infrastructure and open-source driven products that support enterprise, cloud, AI, and IoT ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, well-documented software systems in Golang with a focus on performance and reliability
• Debug and troubleshoot production and user-facing issues across distributed systems and services
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contributors to refine technical specifications and system improvements
• Improve engineering workflows, deployment processes, and observability
• In some cases, deploy, monitor, and operate services in production
• Support product success through technical advocacy, documentation, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Strong academic background in CS/Engineering/STEM or equivalent practical experience
• Production-grade Go experience, ideally in Linux-based environments
• Deep familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu/Debian preferred) and strong system-level fundamentals
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and scalable backend architectures
• Proven problem-solving ability and ability to deliver independently and on schedule
• Excellent English communication for cross-time-zone collaboration
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Ability/willingness to travel internationally twice a year
